  • I see on social media and my friends have said to me that "we're living on a floating rock, why does it matter?"
    • My response to her was that even if we are, this is all we got so we might as well take the opportunities we have and live life to the fullest
  • By taking the red pill you have the opportunity to have control over your life, even if it might be hard, I would rather fight for my own life than be blissfully unaware
Wouldn't Neo be found eventually anyways?
  • The agents were searching for him, specifically Agent Smith
  • With the red pill, he can be prepared and put an end to the Matrix altogether
He would have never found his love
  • If Neo took the blue pill, he would have forgotten about Trinity
    • Trinity confessed her love for Neo and pulled him back into the real world, saving his life
Neo would have never known that he is "the one"
  • Without this knowledge, he wouldn't have the skill set to save the other humans
    • This would leave Morpheus and his team without the one person who can greatly help destroy the matrix
